Woman Cut Free From Car Following A483 RTC

Two vehicles have been involved in a road traffic collision on the A483 southbound. 

The incident took place southbound near Burton/Pulford Southbound shortly before 10:45 am this morning and it is believed one car has hit a hedge.

It is reported that three ambulances and two fire engines, with one vehicle looking as though it has had the roof removed.

Traffic is being filed into one lane with significant tailbacks already in the area.

Jason tweeted us to say: “An accident on the Wrexham Chester bypass towards Wrexham, looks bad, expect tailbacks, avoid if possible.”

We have also been tweeted this photo of the traffic queuing on the A483 by Claire.

North Wales Fire and Rescue service have confirmed they two fire engines had attended the scene and that a woman had been cut free from her vehicle.

The A483 southbound reopened at around 12:45 this afternoon.
