Witness appeal following “serious assault” in Caia Park this afternoon

North Wales Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following an incident which took place in the Caia Park area of Wrexham earlier this afternoon.

At 1:19pm officers were called to an address on Almond Grove following reports of a serious assault.

A male casualty was transferred to hospital – it is not believed his injuries are life threatening.

Police say they are looking for two men in connection with the incident, both believed to be in their early 20s and driving a white SUV 4×4 vehicle.

An address on Queensway is also connected to the incident.

Anyone with any information related the incident is asked to contact North Wales Police on 101 and quoting event number W041257.
