Witness appeal after reports a man was seen driving “heavily under the influence of alcohol” in Coedpoeth

A man was found to have been driving his vehicle whilst heavily under the influence of alcohol in the general area of Coedpoeth in the early hours of this morning.

At approximately 5:25am, North Wales Police received reports of a silver BMW 3 series driving dangerously in the Coedpoeth area.

Police say that reports suggested that the vehicle was being driven whilst heavily defective.

PC Richard Primao of the Roads Policing Unit said: “We are following lines of enquiry and I would like to encourage anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have been travelling in the Coedpoeth area around the time of the incident to get in touch to assist in piecing together the sequence of events.”
