Police are appealing for information from the community after windows were broken at three houses across Wrexham, in incidents that are thought to be linked.

One family member has circulated the top image of the broken window, along with the item thrown through it, adding, “My mum and dad have had their front room window smashed at about 11pm, my mum was sat on the sofa in front of the window and the rock/concrete luckily just missed her head.”

“From what we know a silver car was used and dumped just off Montgomery Road, and a house in Bryn Offa was also the target as well as several others around Wrexham.”

Police told us they were called at 23.24 on Thursday evening, after an object was thrown through the window of house in Benjamin Road. Thankfully no one was hurt.

Police added, that suspects made off in a silver car, “We also had reports around 22.36 from Bryn Offa where a window was cracked and Coed Aben where a window was smashed. Again the suspects made off in a silver car.”

The car was subsequently seized by police and enquiries are on-going to identify occupants.

The incidents are being treated as linked, and anyone with any information is asked to call police via the 101 number citing reference X09750.
