Police have attended calls in the Gresford / Rossett areas after complaints about window salesmen.

The details of the calls have not been disclosed however police have said they “received a number of calls from concerned residents” regarding the window salesman.

Police said, “Officers have attended and have confirmed this to be a local company.”

“If you do have concerns re cold callers please make Trading Standards aware.”

Police are pointing people to Wrexham Council’s Trading Standards service, and specifically the ‘doorstep safety’ advice page, which in turn advises calling the police: “The message is simple – If In Doubt, Keep Them Out. Also, never be afraid to report anyone who is suspicious to the police.”
