Police have issued a warning for people to be on the look out for anything suspicious on cash machines in the Wrexham area.

Today in Home Bargains in Gwersyllt, an elderly lady had her purse stolen.

Previously she had used a nearby cash machine to withdraw cash and police say it appears that the thieves may have tampered with the machine to obtain pin numbers.

Police add: “Please be vigilant when withdrawing cash, report anything suspicious.”
