Members of the public are being warned of potential traffic disruption this afternoon due to a large funeral procession.

It will make its way from Ruabon Church at around 1pm and will travel along Wrexham Road towards Rhostyllen via Johnstown.

The procession will then head into the city centre at around 1:30pm via Ruabon Road, left at Victoria Road and onto Bradley Road, picking up Grosvenor Road and then finally Rhosddu Road before arrival at the cemetery in Plas Acton for 14:00hrs

Insp Luke Hughes said: “This will be a horse drawn procession and there may be slight congestion as a result, your patience would be appreciated.”
