Warning issued following series of shed break-ins

Residents are being urged to ensure their sheds and garages are secure following a series of break-ins over the past week across the Wrexham area.

Appeals have been issued in relation to two thefts, with police stating that a number of items were stolen after thieves broke into a garage on Old Mold Road, Gwersyllt overnight between Sunday 14th January and Monday 15th January.

25 fishing rods, fishing reels, a McCulloch chainsaw, Stihl chainsaw, Dewalt cordless drill and a DeWalt grinder.

A second appeal has also been launched following a break-in at a garden shed on Central Avenue in the Acton area.

Thieves removed the door hinges on a wooden garden shed overnight on Sunday 14th January and Monday 15th January.

Police say a mountain bike, a Flymo lead blower, Flymo hedge cutter, Karcher jet washer and barbecue equipment were stolen from the property.
