Thousands of film, TV and comic book fans from across the globe are expected to visit Wrexham this weekend for Wales Con Part Two.

The popular event is returning its second Comic Con of the year, after hosting a sell out event back in April of this year.

Wales Comic Con has gone from strength to strength in recent years, evolving from a small event in Glyndwr Sport Centre – to an event attended by thousands spanning across Glyndwr University.

This weekend’s event features including Supernatural star Mark Sheppard, Shane Richie and Jessie Wallace (Eastenders), Alan Fletcher (Neighbours), Peter Davison (Doctor Who), Chris Barrie (Red Dwarf), Jack Donnelly & Mark Addy (Atlantis); and plenty of stars from The Hobbit, Game of Thrones and Star Wars.

Along with the chance to meet some of your favourite stars from the world of television, there will also be a number of writers and cosplayers on board.

Throughout the day there will be autograph signings, live wrestling matches, cosplay and some very exciting Q&A Panels with the stars from some of your favourite TV shows and films. For the first time ever there will also be a live auction, with members of the hit TV show ‘Storage Hunters’ auctioning off some rare and exclusive items.

Earlier this year thousands attended Wales Comic Con, which saw Shane Richie, Jonathan Ross and the cast of Red Dwarf as part of the line-up. Due to the events ever increasing popularity, this year organisers are hosting a second event – with some of the biggest names in the industry attending.

Wales Comic Con will take place at Glyndwr University this Sunday. Both General Entry and Early Bird tickets have sold out for the event, however there will be a limited number of General Entry tickets available on the day.
