Wales Coach To Host Rugby League Masterclass Ahead Of World Cup

Wales Rugby League head coach Iestyn Harris is to lead a coaching masterclass in Wrexham in the run up to Rugby League World Cup 2013.

The event, which forms part of the build up to Wrexham hosting two matches at Rugby League World Cup 2013, takes place at the Glyndwr University Racecourse Stadium on Wednesday 30 October.

The masterclass is free to attend but places are limited and anyone wishing to be involved is urged to book well in advance.

Harris will give a presentation before hosting a Q&A session. The event runs from 7pm to 8.30pm at the 1873 suite in the Mold Road stand of the stadium.

Anna Marie Brown, sports manager for Glyndwr University, said: “This is a unique opportunity for anyone involved in rugby league to learn about the game from someone at the highest level.

“It will be hugely insightful and we wish Iestyn and his team all the very best at the World Cup.”

The Glyndwr University Racecourse Stadium is hosting two games as part of the showpiece event.

Wales take on the USA in their opening group game on Sunday 3 November at 2pm. A quarter final featuring the winners of Group A and Group D will be played on Saturday 16 November, 1pm kick off.
