A car has been destroyed following an arson attack yesterday evening.

The incident took place at around 8:30pm last night, just off the Pandy Industrial Estate.

It is believed the car was abandoned off the road and left near the railway bridge.

One crew from Wrexham attended the incident and the fire was extinguished by 9:15pm.

A spokesperson for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that the fire had been started deliberately. The vehicle was also left with 100% fire damage.
