Seventeen cars on one Wrexham street were attacked over night with a tyre slasher striking the vehicles.

The incident occurred on Bron-Y-Dre around 8pm last night, with one resident telling us the locally calculated total of cars affected numbered seventeen.

This morning two police cars attended, with North Wales Police forensic teams working to gather evidence.

Some cars had been removed by the time we went along to the area this afternoon, however there were still lines of cars each with flat tyres, one with a disabled sticker in the back window.

The damage affected single and some multiple tyres on each car.

We are currently unable to get further information from North Wales Police, but will update tomorrow.
