Two Run Away After Car Crashes Into House In Caia

Police are appealing for information after a car crashed in Caia park with two people running away from the scene of the incident.

Several local residents reported a car speeding through Caia prior to the incident, with one describing hearing a ‘screech’ prior to hearing a crash.

Police, ambulance and the fire service attended the incident with the police helicopter also deployed overhead.

We are told the car ended up crashing into an elderly persons house, with some reported damage to the windows of the building.

North Wales Police confirmed this morning: “Shortly after 11pm last night Police were called to an address in Deva Way following reports that a red VW Polo had crashed into the garden of a property.”

“Initial enquiries indicate two people ran from the scene and so we are currently making enquiries to identify those individuals and the current owner of the vehicle.”

“The investigation is at an early stage and so if anyone has any information that may assist or witnessed last night’s events can they please contact NWP on 101 or Crimestoppers and quote reference R189311”

The Welsh Ambulance Service said “We had a call at 11.01pm last night to this and responded with a crew in an emergency ambulance, but were not required.”
