Two Killed In Cefn Road Collision

Sadly this evening North Wales Police have said two people have died following the collision on Cefn Road this afternoon.

The collision occurred on Cefn Road close to the Abenbury junction and involved a car and a coach.

The details released say sadly the two people in the Mitsubishi Colt car suffered fatal injuries.

The coach driver and a passenger suffered minor injuries.

Investigation work is carrying on this evening, with police saying earlier: “The road is currently closed, diversions are in place and officers are advising motorists to avoid the immediate area at this time.”

“Anyone who witnessed the collision should contact members of the Roads Policing Unit at Deeside on 101 quoting reference number S057584.”

UPDATE 9:30pm: Police have just said that Cefn Road has now reopened.
