The Scouts are looking for people in the Borras, Rhosnesni & Caia Park areas to join the Committee of 1st Rhosnesni Scout Group.

The committee, which meets on Dean Road, supports the volunteer leaders run activities for girls and boys aged six to 18 in the area by overseeing the running of the Scout hut, the group finances and gives an independent body to ensure everything is done properly and safely.

District Commissioner for Wrexham Scouts, Moz Morris said, “We hope that there are community spirited people out there who care about what we do in Rhosnesni and would be willing to support our work.

“The committee will only meet three or four times a year so it’s not a huge time commitment.”

No special skills are required for this trustee role and there is a brief online trustee induction course which provides everything members need to know plus training on safety, safeguarding and what the Scouts is all about.
