An eyewitness has told us there has been a collision between a car and a pedestrian outside of l’etage on Town Hill this evening – Saturday.

Police and Ambulance attended with a fire engine nearby. We dont believe the fire engine was responding to the call, but was just passing.

Traffic in the town centre was at a complete standstill backwards along High St, Yorke St back towards Halfords.
