Town Centre Postbox Gets Painted Gold For Tom James

Wrexham.com popped down to Town Hill early this morning to see the postbox outside The Cambrian being painted gold in honour of Tom James winning gold yesterday in the Olympics.

Painting the postbox was Royal Mail employee of seven years Toby Webbern. He said it ‘was an honour’.

Father and son David and Alexander Smith from Rossett cycled all the way into town to see it being painted after watching yesterdays rowing victory. Here is a picture of Alexander helping out:
