The Anise Restaurant is to play host to another of its popular fundraising curry nights in aid of the Wrexham AFC Disabled Supporters Association.

Dubbed ‘Curry with Keates’, the event on Tuesday 7 March will see Club Manager Dean Keates and some Wrexham AFC players attend the evening, which will also feature a raffle and an auction and a talk from the top boss

Tickets for the evening are now available for £15 per head for a three course meal – with £10 from every ticket being donated to the Wrexham AFC Disabled Supporters Association, to raise funds for a new wheelchair viewing platform.

Speaking about the event, Wrexham DSA Chairman Steve Gilbert said: “It’s great to have Dean Keates backing us and I’m sure that he will help us draw a crowd for the evening. The last event was a huge success and we are very grateful to the Anise for thinking of us again and helping us to raise vital funds.”

Robb Golam, owner of the Anise added that the restaurant was ‘delighted to support the Wrexham DSA with their fundraising efforts’.

He continued: “This is a brilliant cause and we are proud to help them. We hope lots of people support the night and we look forward to welcoming them.”

Tickets need to be purchased in advance on a first come first served basis by calling in to the Anise on 01978 266017 or [email protected].
