Wrexham Council are providing anyone who is interested in setting up their own business with the opportunity to find out more about taking a stall in one of Wrexham’s town centre markets.

On Thursday 27 June between 10 am and 12 noon and Thursday 4 July between 2pm and 4 pm, Wrexham Council will be holding information sessions in the People’s Market.

The events will provide an opportunity for people to chat with existing traders and those who work in the markets.

Business advice will also be on offer from the Prince’s Trust, Businessline and Wrexham Council’s Business Development Team.

Cllr Neil Rogers, Leader of Wrexham Council, said: “These events are an ideal opportunity for people to come and have a chat about their business ideas and how they could be brought to fruition.  I hope many potential traders attend and take advantage of the advice on offer.”

All of Wrexham’s town centre indoor markets are located just a few minutes walk from a large multi storey car park. In total there are over 100 stalls offering everything from sausages and steaks to furniture, fashion clothing or mobile phones and children’s` toys.

They are open six days a week, Monday to Saturday, 9.00am – 5.00pm (the Butcher’s Market and General Markets closeWednesday afternoons at 2.00pm).
