Temporary Delays In Wrexham – Bidston Train Service

Issues with ‘line-side equipment’ have resulted in delays between the Wrexham and Bidston line this afternoon.

Alternative bus transport has been put into place for those travelling between Wrexham and Bidston this afternoon due to issues with line-side equipment.

The issues have impacted the 11:30 Wrexham to Bidston and also 12:32 Bidston to Wrexham Central services.

The 11:30 train from Wrexham Central is experiencing delays of up to 15 minutes and the train will be terminated at Shotton Higher Level. The service will no longer call at Neston, Heswall, Upton and Bidston.

The 12:32 service will be started from Shotton High Level and will no longer call at Bidston, Upton, Heswall and Neston.

Buses will operate between Shotton and Bidston in both directions and the bus will depart Shotton approximately 12:15 calling all stations to Bidston.

A bus will depart Bidston at 12:32pm calling all stations to Shotton, setting down as required to Wrexham.
