Ysgol Morgan Llwyd PTA have teamed up with a local eatery to help raise funds for the school’s new minibus.

The secondary school – along with local businessmen Alex Jones and Sam Regan – will host a Tapas Evening at Plât Bach in Tŷ Pawb later this month.

The PTA had been hoping to to raise funds to purchase much needed iPads for the school, but due to the minibus being set on fire last summer, they are having to fundraise to help towards the cost of the newly purchased replacement.

The fundraiser will take place Friday March 22nd at 7pm at Ty Pawb (former Peoples Market) and tickets will cost £20 for three tapas plates and five taster wines.

Food will be served at 7.30pm and there will be live music from ‘Blue Genes’; former and present pupils, the Lee family.

There will be the opportunity to have a tour of the Grayson Perry art exhibition at 7pm.

If you would like to purchase tickets they are available from Ysgol Morgan Llwyd or Ty Pawb. Tickets are on sale until Tuesday 19th March. Please specify any dietary requirements at the time of booking. Cheques are to be made payable to Morgan Llwyd PTA.
