A ‘Super-Trouper’ Ball will take place next month to mark the belated 25th Anniversary of Nightingale House Hospice

Despite being delayed by the pandemic back in 2020, the Abba-themed ball will be held on Saturday 15 October.

The hospice opened its doors to patients living with a diagnosis of a progressive and/or life-limiting illness back in 1995, 27 years ago.

Over that time it has provided a sanctuary for thousands of people from the local community who have experienced the specialist palliative care provided by the Wrexham-based hospice.

Following on from the previous success of Strictly Nightingales back in 2020, this is the first large-scale indoor event Nightingale House has held at Lion Quays Hotel and Spa, Oswestry since the pandemic.

The night is anticipated to be a floor filler, with an award-winning live ABBA tribute band playing hits which will have you singing and dancing all night long. Everyone loves ABBA, no matter what age you are!

Guests will be greeted with a drinks reception, followed by a delicious 3-course meal. Expect a fun-filled evening with a silent auction, raffle and an envelope draw to raise funds for the local hospice.

Events Fundraiser, Sam Amis explains, “We are super excited about the Nightingale Super Trouper Ball.

“We cannot wait to see everyone go together for an evening full of singing, dancing, and fundraising.”

Tickets are £55 each and can be purchased via the Nightingale House Hospice Website, by calling the fundraising team on 01978 314292.
