Stephanie Booth Dies In Tractor Accident

Stephanie Booth, best known in the area for her work as a hotelier and attempt to take over Wrexham Football Club, has been named locally as the person killed in a tractor incident last night.

The incident took place on a farm owned by Stephanie Booth near to Corwen.

A spokeswoman for North Wales Police this morning confirmed emergency services were called shortly after 8pm last night, however ‘sadly a female driver was pronounced dead at the scene’.

The spokeswoman added: “The Health and Safety Executive and the Coroner have been informed.”

North East Wales Search and Rescue (NEWSAR) also attended the scene.

A statement on their Facebook page this morning said: “On Sunday night NEWSAR volunteers were called by North Wales Police to assist with the recovery of a deceased casualty following an incident with a tractor in a difficult to access location near Corwen. 15 volunteers attended.”
