Six people were rescued from their vehicle last night after attempting to drive through flood water.

Emergency services attended the incident just after 6pm last night when the vehicle became trapped in water near to Bangor-On-Dee. One unit from Wrexham and another from Deeside attended the incident, and thankfully there were no injuries reported.

Today Wrexham.com has been tweeted (below) reports of others attempting to drive through the flood water near to Bangor-on-Dee with cars reported to have become stuck.

The Fire and Rescue service have told us this afternoon that they have not been called to any further incidents involving rescuing people from vehicles, so presumably those involved have extracted themselves without the need for outside help.
