Series of ‘Couch to 5k’ sessions for women launch this evening

A series of couch to 5k / Walk to Run sessions for women are set to get underway this month.

The sessions start at Queensway Leisure Centre, Wrexham, from Monday, September 10, with sessions continuing weekly every Monday.

They’ve been organised by Get Out, Get Active – the women-focused activity and fitness sessions organised by Active Wrexham team and partners Freedom Leisure – have launched the series of 0 to 5k/Walk to Run sessions to help you stay fit through the autumn.

Beginners can take to the track from 6.30pm until 7.30pm.

First sessions are free, with a cost of £2 per session thereafter.
