The A5 near the Gledrid Roundabout has reopened following an earlier road traffic collision.

Emergency services were called to the collision shortly after 5:30pm this evening.

Three vehicles, believed to be a lorry and two cars, were involved in the collision.

As a result the A5 between Gledrid Roundabout and Halton Roundabout was partially blocked in both directions with motorists advised to avoid the area.

The road reopened fully shortly before 8:30pm.
