Five roads remain closed due to flooding and related issues.

The following roads have reopened:
A525 Marchwiel to Cross Lanes
A528 Marchwiel to Kiln Lane
A539 Ruabon Roundabout to Plas Bennion Road
Cefn Road from Abenbury Roundabout to Wrexham Industrial Estate
Redwither Lane

Currently closed:

Today’s forecast is for a drier but windy day, and for the first time in 72 hours there are no weather warnings in place.

At the time of writing the forecast for the rest of the week also has a settled outlook, with no major weather issues ahead.

Last night Darren Williams, Chief Officer Environment and Technical told us: “Once again I wish to thank our staff and the emergency services who have worked all weekend to ensure residents are kept safe during Storm Dennis.”
