Woman Hospitalised Following Two Vehicle Collision

A woman has been hospitalised following a two vehicle collision on the A525 earlier this afternoon.

Shortly before 1pm emergency services were called to the A525 Ruthin Road following reports of a collision near the turning for Heritage Way.

As a result of the collision the road was partially blocked with police diverting traffic away from the area.

The road was closed for less than an hour.

An emergency ambulance attended the scene and one woman was taken to the Wrexham Maelor Hospital following the crash.

A spokesperson for Welsh Ambulance Service: “We were called at about 1pm to reports of a road traffic collision on the A525 Ruthin Road in Wrexham, near the turning for Heritage Way.
