Residents urged to ensure homes are secure following burglary and reports of ‘doors and windows being tried’ overnight

Residents are being urged to ensure that their property remains secure in the warm weather following reports of doors and windows on homes being tried.

The warning comes following a burglary in the Coed Y Glyn area of Wrexham on Monday evening.

A man was also seen trying the doors and windows of properties in the surrounding estate.

Police are now appealing for anyone who has CCTV in the area to check for any suspicious activity. Anyone with any further information is advised to contact North Wales Police on 101 quoting Cymru W074669.
