A Halloween ‘Spooky Maize Maze’ at a popular farm shop and restaurant has been vandalised.

In a statement posted online by Bellis Brothers this morning, staff explained that due to a “few unwanted visitors overnight” the Spooky Maize Maze has been “completely wrecked”.

Today was due to be the last day the maze was open, however due to the damage caused it has been closed.

The statement adds: “We are really disappointed as today would have been our last day and we were hoping to see lots of you in your Halloween fancy dress attempting it.

“We can only apologise for this mindless act of vandalism ruining it for everyone else. If anybody knows who may be responsible please let ourselves or the police (call 101) know!

“Thank you for your understanding.”
