Police say “parents will be receiving visits” after group of youths found in breach of lockdown guidelines

Police say that the parents of a group of a “small number of youths” will be visited after they were found in breach of the social distancing guidelines.

Officers from NWP Wrexham Rural say there were carrying out patrols of the Marford Quarry area following reports of “nuisance youths” breaching the current lockdown guidelines.

Cannabis was also recovered.

In a post NWP Wrexham Rural said: “Following reports of nuisance youths and CV19 breaches in Marford Quarry officers have been conducting regular patrols of the area.

“A small number of youths have been returned home and cannabis has been recovered.

“Parents will be receiving visits.”
