Update: Wanted man apprehended by police

Update 11:48am: North Wales Police have told us the large police activity was due to a search for ‘a wanted man’ – and with a great result they say ‘he has been apprehended’.

Several people have been in touch to say during the ‘chase’ the individual ran out in front of cars.

The police helicopter is currently assisting ground units in what several people have reported as a ‘foot chase’.

A large number of police have been attending an incident around Derwent Crescent in Acton, with more around Oak Drive one street down.

The ‘chase’ headed south west towards Rhosddu, with dog units reportedly also helping locate an individual.
