Police closed A483 after body found in river

Police have said a body of a man was found on Saturday evening, prompting the closure of the A483.

North Wales Police told us this afternoon, “We received a report from the Ambulance at 20.46pm on Saturday 20th July, that the body of a man had been found in the river near A483 at Acrefair.”

“The death is not believed to be suspicious.”

The A483 was closed for around 45 minutes on Saturday evening as police dealt “with an incident” nearby.
