North Wales Police have been clamping down on “inconsiderate parking” outside a Wrexham primary school.

Officers from the local policing team have been enforcing restrictions at St Mary’s Primary School in recent weeks after parking issues around the school.

This has included high vis patrols, moving on vehicles and putting advisory parking leaflets on people’s windshields that are parked inconsiderately or on double yellows at school pick up and drop off times.

A spokesperson for NWP Wrexham Rural, said: “This has helped parents, teachers and children enter and leave the car park safely and informed members of the public on the dangers of inconsiderate parking.”
