Police have reiterated an appeal for information after a stabbing in Caia last week.

Investigators are appealing for information to trace the person responsible for the ‘wounding’ in Wrexham.

Officers were called to an address in Pentre Gwyn at 1.52pm on June 16th where a man had sustained serious stab wounds. He was taken by air ambulance to hospital in Stoke.

PC Jonathan Critchley said; “We believe there are individuals in the Caia Park community who know who is responsible for this serious crime and where that person might be.

“It’s important to remember that a man received life threatening injuries so I would urge those with information to do the right thing and come forward.”

Police ask that anyone with information call 101 or use the live webchat via https://www.north-wales.police.uk/contact/live-chat-support

People can also call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting crime reference 20000349926.
