UPDATE: North Wales Police have confirmed that the road has reopened.

ORIGINAL: North Wales Police are in attendance at an incident near Wrexham General train station.

Police say they are attending the incident on Station Approach, the station entrance, and are asking members of the public to avoid the area.

Part of Mold Road on the railway bridge is taped off by police.

Transport for Wales are also advising passengers of delays due to ‘trespassers on the railway’, with disruption expected – although it is unclear if this is connected.
