Police appeal for witnesses after a woman was seriously injured following a collision in Bronington

Police have said a woman was left with serious injuries following a collision in Bronington on Tuesday evening.

North Wales Police received reports of a road traffic collision on Long Lane involving two vehicles and a horse at around 7.30pm.

A passenger in one of the vehicles sustained serious injuries and is receiving treatment at Royal Stoke University Hospital.

Police are now conducting enquiries to establish the full circumstances of the incident.

PC Owain Lewis of the Roads Policing Unit said:

“We are following lines of enquiry and I would like to encourage anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have been travelling along Long Lane around the time of the incident to get in touch to assist in piecing together the sequence of events.”
