Police appeal after eight pregnant dairy cows are stolen

North Wales Police Rural Crime Team has launched an appeal for information after eight ‘in calf’ Holstein dairy cows were stolen.

The cows were stolen from a field in Shordley Road area, sometime between 6pm on September 2nd and 10.30am September 3rd.

Details posted online by the owners states that the cows are “all freeze branded with the last three digits of their eartag, our freeze brand is two inch size.”

The freeze brand numbers of the heifers stolen are: 452, 791, 911, 924, 927, 949, 958 and 956.”

An appeal on social media by the Rural Police Team adds: “We are appealing for information after 8 in calf Holstein dairy cows were stolen overnight on the 2nd September in the Abermorddu area of Flintshire.
