Plans to open a new Greggs on the Wrexham Industrial Estate have been granted.

In April 2019 Wrexham.com reported that two applications had been submitted to Wrexham Council in relation to the new bakery – including new fascia signage on the front of the building and two extract grilles / air conditioning condenser units.

The plans for the new store – which will be located in Unit 28 of the Bridgeway Centre on Bridge Road – have been granted via a delegated decision by the head of environment and planning at Wrexham Council.

As part of the application permission was sought to install Greggs fascia signage on the unit – which would be in place from 27th May 2019 until 27th of May 2024.

This will be the third Greggs bakery in Wrexham, with two stores currently located on Regent Street and Hope Street in the town centre.
