Pedestrian Involved In Accident Near Island Green

A woman in her 60s has been taken to hospital following a collision in Wrexham Town Centre earlier this afternoon.

The incident took place near Island Green Roundabout shortly after 1:30pm this afternoon.

The A5152 Bradley Road was closed in both directions and it is reported that traffic is backed up to the B&Q roundabout as a result of the incident. Traffic in the area was directed by Police.

A spokesperson for North Wales Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 1.46pm to a collision involving a pedestrian on a roundabout near Island Green on Bradley Road, Wrexham. We responded with three emergency ambulances, and a woman in her 60s was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital.”
