A parade through the town centre will take place next month to mark St David’s Day.

The event, which will begin outside Tŷ Pawb at 1pm sharp on Sunday 1st March, will be led through the streets by the Cambria Band.

Crowds will then make their way through the town before finishing back at Tŷ Pawb .

The parade forms part of several celebrations taking place in the town to mark St David’s Day – with Tŷ Pawb playing host to live entertainment and activities from 11am.

Chief Officer of Menter Iaith Fflint a Wrecsam, Gill Stephen, said: “There is a warm welcome for people of all ages to join in the fun again this year, whether they are Welsh speakers or not. This extremely popular event is an opportunity for everyone in Wrexham to celebrate the Welsh identity of the town.”
