The A5 towards Chirk has been affected due to an overturned lorry.

UPDATE: Traffic Wales indicate the road could be down to one lane until around 8-9pm tonight. Dan Groombridge sent us the above picture of the lorry on its side.

Original story from earlier today:
A fuel spillage and an overturned lorry on the A483 / A5 Halton Roundabout by Chirk has resulted in the closure of the road this afternoon.

The incident took place at around 11:45am this morning and police are in attendance at the scene.

We are told that traffic is currently queuing in both directions and there are delays for those travelling that way.

Due to suspected fuel on the carriageway Traffic Wales suggests the incident is expected to last until around 4:30pm this afternoon.
