Motorists are being warned of potential disruption this week with a series of overnight road closures on the A5.

A stretch of the road will be closed for repairs to the guardrail during the evenings of December 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th between 8pm and 6am – when the traffic is lighter.

The repairs will see a full closure north and southbound between Halton Roundabout and Gledrid Roundabout.

Diversions will be in place off the A5 onto the B5070 Chirk Road to rejoin the A5 at Gledrid southbound and Halton northbound.

The North and Mid Wales Wales Trunk Road Agency will be undertaking the work and they have apologised in advance for any inconvenience the works may cause.
