A series of overnight road closures have been announced to allow for resurfacing works to take place as part of a major new development in Ruabon.

As part of the construction of new Aldi Supermarket in Ruabon re-surfacing work of the roundabout on the A539/B5605 have been announced.

This work means a complete closure of the roundabout.

The works will take place between 7pm and 6am from Monday 10th June and are planned for five consecutive nights.

There will be some noise and disturbance for local residents, however it is noted that “every effort will be made to keep this to a minimum”. Those residents affected should receive a letter from the contractor informing them of the works and potential disruption.

Wrexham Council say that Arriva have been informed of these works but their evening bus services, between Wrexham and Llangollen and Wrexham Oswestry, will be affected by these works.
