Outstanding Tutor Award for Coleg Cambria assessor

A work based assessor at Coleg Cambria has recently been recognised for his work.

Aubrey Lawson received an ‘Outstanding Tutor Award’ for supporting team Wales at WorldSkills Abu Dhabi. He was nominated by student Ethan Davies for his support during his time at the college and competing at WorldSkills.

Engineering Assessor, Aubery who was delighted with his award said: “It was a pleasure to receive this award and a shock.

“Being nominated by Ethan was a real honour and I feel very lucky to have been part of his very successful journey, and would like to wish him all the very best for the future.”

“The support that I was given by Aubrey throughout my time with the college and WorldSkills has been paramount to my success” added Ethan.

“I am really glad that this has now been recognised.”
