Opticians plans for former office space near Wrexham town centre

Vacant office space just outside of Wrexham town centre could soon be given a new lease of life.

Plans submitted to Wrexham Council propose that the former “sales office” at Caxton Place, Regent Street, is turned into an opticians.

Details provided within proposals state that the applicant is looking to move her business, Jane Smellie Opticians – into the premises.

The space itself was previously used as an office for Pendine Park but has been vacant for some time.

Opening hours provided within the application state that the opticians will operate between 8:30am and 7pm Monday to Friday and between 8am and 5:30pm on a Saturday.

The application for a change of use of the offices will be considered for approval at a later date.
