Ongoing Mystery Stench Affects Parts Of Wrexham

A mystery stench has persisted today, despite temperatures being lower and rain in the air.

Lynn from Johnstown wrote in echoing many comments circulating on social media, to say “You can smell it over a mile away, Windows and doors are shut , it’s smelling the local supermarket out!”

Gemma emailed to say: “Bad smell in Ruabon. Smells worse now it’s been raining. Smell like human waste then muck spreading.”

We have contacted Wrexham Council to discover if there has been any environmental issues reported and will update with what they say…
