Incident Closes Whitegate Road

A male has reportedly been injured following a collision on Whitegate Road yesterday evening.

The incident is believed to have taken place shortly after 7pm with emergency services seen on the Whitegate Road area near Queensway.

The incident has been confirmed to involve a single vehicle, believed to be a motorbike.

One person has been in touch to say that the road is currently closed and police are diverting people away from the area. We have also had a number of reports saying that the fire service are also in attendance.

Full details of the incident have not been confirmed however Gazz Williams has been in touch to say it looks as though as a motorcyclist has sadly been involved.
