Officer catches woman driving over the limit twice in five days

A woman who was caught over the drink drive limit twice in five days has been disqualified from driving.

The 54-year-old woman was stopped by officers in the Llay area of Wrexham yesterday.

Police say it was the second time the woman had been stopped in five days – both times by the same officer.

She was arrested, charged and remanded to appear in court this morning.

The woman was disqualified from driving for three years, ordered to carry out 75 hours unpaid work and fined £85 surcharge.
