Last week Wrexham Rual Rota 1 Officers stopped a suspicious vehicle travelling on the A483 in the early hours of the morning.

They say inside the vehicle were 3 occupants (1 x Male, 2 x Female) and “a large amount of Cash and Nitrous Oxide (NO2) canisters”.

Local officers said, “Supplying a Psychoactive Substance is against the law and for this reason, ALL occupants were arrested for ‘Possession of a Psychoactive Substance with Intent to Supply’. The male was also further arrested for ‘Money Laundering’.

“They have since been Released Under Investigation (RUI) pending further enquiries. ”

“Contrary to sections 5(1) and 10(1) of the Psychoactive Substances Act 2016 – It is illegal to intentionally supply a psychoactive substance for its psychoactive effects. #NoLaughingMatter”
